The surrounding hills, pine forests and historical landmarks, such as the ruined Moorish watchtowers of Torre Esteril and Torre de Benamarín, give Los Arqueros a relaxed country feel, whilst being within a short 10-minute drive of San Pedro and Puerto Banus. Here we find numerous luxury developments, which are ideal as first residences or holiday homes, as well as independent villas, many of which boast impressive, panoramic views of the golf courses and the sea.

In addition to Los Arqueros “proper”, there are other neighbourhoods within this area; each with its distinctive character, such as La Reserva de Alcuzcuz (located in the highest part and benefitting from incredible views), Capanes Golf (consisting primarily of an upmarket residential development beside El Higueral Golf) and Puerto del Capitan (which has numerous large villas with easy access to San Pedro town).
