Further west, we find Playa Ancha, whose name translates as “wide beach” and properly describes one of the best sandy beaches on the Costa del Sol, with plenty of space for strolling, swimming or simply relaxing on one of its many sunbeds.

The area north of the A-7 road is characterised by hills with cork oak trees and vineyards of the local Manilva grape. Here there are three major golf courses. The first one is Doña Julia Golf, which is on the western edge of the town near La Duquesa.
